To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing you concerning a donation / sponsorship opportunity with our 2015 Summer BBQ Live Music Event. We will be holding our 3nd Annual event on Friday June 12th, 2015 at the Eagles in Leominster, MA from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets will be $10.00 at the door there will be several food options available and great music from local artists. All proceeds earned during this event will go towards Lymphoma Leukemia Research (LLS.org) Sys Fund and one local family affected by this type of cancer, and is in need of financial support.
LLS is committed to reaching out to those with leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative diseases in meaningful ways. The Sy’s Fund helps young adults with cancer by funding their creative passions, pursuits, and hobbies as well as integrative therapies such as acupuncture, reflexology, and therapeutic massage. SY’s Funds is in memory of Silas “Sy” River Bennett, a young man who thrived on ideas, projects, and goals.
Programs have been developed all over the country to meet the needs of patients, families and oncology professionals, the people who deal with blood cancer every day and the people who care for them. Understanding the extreme challenges young adults with cancer face, it is their goal to provide something that will help to make a difference in their daily lives.
Tim Hildreth is the reason we have this fundraiser for LLS.org and Sys Fund. He was diagnosed three years ago this coming August and fights the battle strong every day. The family has utilized LLS's resources as well as Sys Fund to the fullest and it is an organization’s very dear to their heart!! The family strives to give back to what LLS and Sys Fund has given them in hopes to touch another families life that has been affected by this specific cancer.
More than 250 volunteers and spectators were in attendance at last year’s event, raising $4,000 for our cause. We are anxiously looking forward to even greater success at this year’s event.
Below are the details concerning this year’s donation request levels, all sponsors will receive an official tax exempt letter from LLS.org to utilize for their 2014 tax season and a free ticket to our event.

Donation of Raffle Items for Chinese Auction/Door Prize or any Monetary Donation of your choice. Free ticket to the event. Company will receive the tax exempt letter and a personal thank you on our website.

Monetary Donation/ Sponsorship of your choice. Free Ticket to event. Company will receive tax exempt letter and a personal thank you on website as well as company name on any promotional material. Any amount will bring us closer to a successful event and we are extremely grateful for your support and participation.

We would also gratefully accept donations of raffle prizes/items that can be raffled during our Chinese raffle the night of the event I will promptly respond and send you a tax exempt letter that you can utilize towards your 2014-2015 tax season.
